Are you passionate about keeping our community vibrant, clean, and welcoming? Lents 96 Action Group is excited to host the Lents Pathways Beautification Cleanup Event in partnership with SOLVE. This is a fantastic opportunity to come together with neighbors, friends, and fellow volunteers to make a visible impact on the pathways connecting our beloved parks and schools.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, September 21, 2024
• Time: 10 AM – 12 PM
• Meeting Point: Lents Park at the SE corner, Portland, OR
• What We’re Doing: We’ll be focusing on cleaning up litter, removing plant overgrowth, and creating safer and more beautiful pathways that connect Lents Elementary, Lents Park, and the surrounding areas.

Why It Matters: This event is more than just a cleanup—it’s about fostering pride in our neighborhood, ensuring our shared spaces are welcoming, and improving safety for everyone. Whether you walk these paths daily or only occasionally, your help will make a big difference.

SOLVE will provide all the cleanup supplies, including gloves, litter grabbers, trash bags, and gardening tools. We encourage participants to wear comfortable, bright clothing and closed-toe shoes for safety.
